A quick visit to a local antique festival is a great way to find some amazing and inexpensive french furniture. Unique Cabinets, dressers, storage or anything else can be painted to make the Shabby Chic look work in your home.

Shabby Chic is all about that distressed and worn feel. The best way to create a unique look for your furniture is to add a distressed look. You can even do your own furniture by painting over and then sanding it a little. Don’t pass up on a cool vintage item just because of the color!

The Midwest’s finest Shabby Chic and Industrial dealers will have a highlighted area at the Michigan Antique Festivals in 2023. In Midland, you’ll be able to find the area near Gate 3, and in Davisburg, it will be located near the historic Ellis Barn. You won’t want to miss this area, where you’ll see amazing barn finds and unique industrial items on display.

In 2012, we announced the addition of two new areas to our regular antique wares show: a dedicated Shabby Chic area and an Industrial Goods market. These trends have been extremely popular, and we are excited to welcome large dealers who are well-known throughout the Midwest for their Shabby Chic and Industrial items. In the Shabby Chic area, you’ll find large furniture, small accent pieces, chippy shabby items, picture frames, burlap, glassware, stained glass, muslin, and antique linens, among other things. Many handmade items and gift items will also be available. The Industrial Goods market will feature industrial wood carts, work benches, commercial letters, and a variety of old manufacturing findings.
